The intelligent combination of current time, brightness and motion detection controls the light according to actual needs. This saves energy and protects the environment without compromising safety. Responsible outdoor lighting
During the night, the colour temperature of BEGA BugSaver® luminaires can be switched from 3000 Kelvin to an amber light colour that is significantly less attractive to insects (similar to 1800 Kelvin), and the output can also be reduced if required. This lowers energy consumption and protects nocturnal animals. With BEGA Connect, environmentally responsible setup of your lighting installation can be completed in just a few convenient steps.
Simple commissioning
With BEGA Connect, you don’t need any prior knowledge to set up a professional lighting control system. Once the electrical installation is complete, the intuitive BEGA Connect app guides you through the setup in just a few steps – complex technical decisions are made automatically in the background. You then have access to a full range of lighting design options, guided by an outstanding user experience that is unrivalled in the professional sector.

Groups and scenes
Groups and scenes make it easy to control multiple luminaires together and save individual lighting moods. Groups allow selected luminaires to be switched and dimmed together, while scenes save specific brightness and colour settings so they can be recalled at any time. This makes it possible to create flexible lighting concepts for any situation with just a few clicks.
Individual control to suit your needs
BEGA Connect supports both control devices and automated control.
Conventional operation using control devices:
DALI-2 control devices allow switches, pushbuttons and rotary dimmers to be integrated into BEGA Connect and configured with ease. They can be used to manually control individual luminaires, groups, scenes or the entire system, for example. Particularly practical: the EnOcean pushbutton module allows pushbuttons to be added flexibly without additional wiring.
Automated system control:
Automations increase convenience, safety and energy efficiency. They can be triggered by motion and light sensors, specified times, or sunrise and sunset.
Shared access.
Any number of users can access the same system with their individual BEGA ID.
A user can also belong to multiple systems. In addition to a convenient invitation function, permissions can be assigned as either Admin or User.
Add some colour.
RGBW colour light control via DALI has never been so easy. Control each individual colour channel granularly via the BEGA Connect app and individually adapt the coloured light effect to the architecture.
Sequences consist of multiple successive scenarios that can be varied in their order and duration. In combination with RGBW luminaires, they are perfectly suited for lively colour cycles, general nighttime power reduction or environmentally friendly control of luminaires with BEGA BugSaver® technology.

Expand your system by linking multiple connectors and all the devices installed on them: via the BEGA Connect Cloud, even physically separate installations can be configured and controlled within a single virtual system – as if there were a control line connecting all the devices.
Cloud-based control from anywhere
The Connectors link the local DALI lighting control system to the BEGA Connect Cloud. Via the IoT, you can access your system from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
Energy Monitoring
For transparent, efficient and sustainable operation, the entire lighting installation can be clearly displayed in charts.
BEGA Connect visualises current and historical energy trends, enables direct comparison and supports continuous optimisation – for permanently lower energy consumption.
